FOURTY-FIVE!

If there's a reason why the Sonics must keep Ray Allen in Seattle after this season, tonight's game at Arco Arena has to be Exhibit A. There aren't too many players of Allen's caliber in the NBA right now. Allen's 45 points has put the Sacramento Kings in a 3-1 hole. This after the Sonics played a piss-poor first half.

This is a cliche for sure, but it's oh so true:

Big time players make big time plays.

Ray Allen is a big time player.

Seattle fans, you better appreciate Jesus Shuttlesworth. He's definitely got game.

(At least now Sports and B's has a REAL basketball player at the top of the page.)
