WALTZ HEADED TO FLORIDA
Veteran Northwest sportscaster Rich Waltz has been hired as the TV play-by-play broadcaster for the Florida Marlins.
Waltz will call the Marlins games for FSN Florida, along with color analyst Tommy Hutton. This is a well-deserved honor for Waltz, who has been in the business for a while. I've met the man on a few occasions and he's certainly earned respect in my book.
