The Wilson Valdez Era in Seattle is officially over.
Valdez was traded to the San Diego Padres today for minor league pitchers Michael Bumstead and R.D. Spiehs. Valdez has been assigned to Triple-A Portland by the Padres.
Exxon won't have to pump his own gas in Portland!
As for the Mariners, they'll have to face Leeann Tweeden's ex-boyfriend Josh Beckett tonight. Hey, I'm just trying to help out our readers here.
