GAME 15: MARINERS 5, RANGERS 4
[initial placeholder...work and a certain Game 7]
In 25 words or less: Baek didn't set the world ablaze, but he wasn't a loser in this one.
This one featured Cha Seung Baek going up against Kevin Millwood. The Mariners were hoping not to extend their losing streak to a lucky seven. Felix Hernandez was placed on the 15-day disabled list (no surprise) and Cha Seung Baek was called up from Tacoma for a spot start. The Mariners hoped to break their habit of digging a big hole for themselves early in the game. Kevin Millwood isn't a worldbeater by any means, but he's someone who had given the Mariners a hard time on a couple of occasions in the past. As boring as this team can be at times, I'm just glad I'm not rooting for a team that has Sammy Sosa on it. It's just one of those things you hope you never have to deal with as a sports fan -- it's like being a fan of the Ravens even with Ray Lewis.
