SO LET IT BE WRITTEN...SO LET IT BE DONE!

It will be the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX at Jacksonville's Alltel Stadium two weeks from tonight (Feb. 6).

The Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-10 and the Patriots knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers 41-27. For the Eagles, they were finally able to win a NFC Championship Game with their current group of players. The last three years, they had lost in the conference title game to St. Louis, Tampa Bay, and Carolina, the latter two at home.

The Patriots will try to win their 3rd world championship in 4 seasons against the Eagles in Jacksonville. What's amazing about this Patriots team is that they are truly a team. I've known this for a while, especially since the Seahawks' 30-20 loss in Foxboro back on October 17. Regardless of who's hired by the Seahawks in their front office, I hope they takes a look at the Patriots' way of doing things. After all, they've only won 2 out of the last 3 Super Bowls and could win their 3rd in two weeks.

So we have two weeks until Super Bowl XXXIX. Which means there will be a ton of hype about this game. It's the consequences of having a 2-week lull between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.

You want hype? I'll give you some Sunday not-too-long after the conference championship game hype...

WHAT WILL BILL BELICHICK WEAR NEXT?

Did you see him rocking that headband? The man is money. I get a kick out of his wardrobe, I really do. He's Bill F**king Belichick. If he were coaching my team, I wouldn't give a damn what he wears. He could steal one of Jesse Ventura's feather boas and I wouldn't give a damn. Winning is Belichick's business...and business is good!

Over the next two weeks, we're going to be bombarded by the minute-by-minute Terrell Owens "Will he play?" Watch. We'll also have the "Tom Brady is Joe Montana" comparisons as well. But I'll say this about Brady. He's good. Damn good. I wouldn't bother comparing him to Montana, though. News flash, it's perfectly fine to let players make their own identities. Tom Brady is Tom Brady. Who wouldn't want to be Brady right now?

Congrats to the Patriots and Eagles for getting this far. It's just another year of seeing other teams playing in the Super Bowl for me. Ho freaking hum.

Here's to surviving the next two weeks of Super Bowl hype.
