PACKERS AT SEAHAWKS, 11/27/06

The sarcastic thing for me to do would be to ask how many people out there will have the television on mute with the radio feed on so you get less of a bombardment of Brett Favre material.

Nonetheless, it's yet another Monday night game, three weeks after the last one.

The difference this time is that both Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck will be starting, as opposed to neither the last time through.

Again, all I'm looking for is a win. I'm expecting Hasselbeck to be a bit rusty, and I'm not expecting Alexander to rush for 100 yards or anything.

Unless Alexander busts loose to something to the tune of 100 yards, I think Mo Morris should still be getting some carries, as opposed to the measly two carries he got last week.

As for the defense, a showing much like the second half of last week rather than the first would be much appreciated.

And good gracious, some takeaways out of that defense would be nice. God forbid one of their cornerbacks picks off a pass; Tuesday might be a state holiday if something so rare happens.

Anyway, a win would set up the Seahawks incredibly well, considering Carolina lost and the Giants imploded in the fourth quarter yesterday. In news involving things of lesser attainability, the Bears lost as well.

Win, win, win, win, win.
