GAME 18: SUPERSONICS 99, TRAILBLAZERS 89

SuperSonics 99, TrailBlazers 89
I didn't see the game (I was at the hockey rink), but that doesn't mean I can't peek through the boxscore and articles and try to figure out what happened. Did I mention that FSNNW should find a way to replay the Sonic games?

PEEK AT THE BOXSCORE
starters: Rashard Lewis 20 pts (8-14 FG, 3-6 3pt), Ray Allen 14 pts/5 reb/4 ast (5-15 FG, 2-7 3pt, 2-3 free throws), Luke Ridnour 11 pts/4 ast (4-8 FG), Reggie Evans 5 pts/6 reb
bench: Vlad Radmanovic 20 pts/10 reb/5 stl/4 ast (7-14 FG, 3-8 3pt), Danny Fortson 12 pts/3 reb, Antonio Daniels 7 pts/6 ast (2-10 FG), Nick Collison 6 pts
team: shot 48% to Portland's 40.5% from the field, hit 10 of 25 threes (40%), were outrebounded 41-33, scored 21 points off Portland turnovers (compared to seven Portland points off their own), bench outscored Portland bench 45-31
Jerome James watch: 4 pts/3 reb in 15 minutes of play on 2-of-3 shooting from the field, using three fouls

Well, Vlad probably had his best game as an NBA player. Twenty and ten off the bench, and still filling some other columns on the stat sheet? That's amazing. This helped make up for off nights out of Allen and Daniels, who combined for 7-of-25 shooting. Ray Allen being less of a factor is highlighted by the fact that he was only able to get to the free-throw line three times, as opposed to nights over the past week or two where he's gotten to the line with double-digit attempts.
