I wonder if anyone out there placed friendly wagers on who would be the Husky football coach after all of this is over.
Bottom line is, if you picked Utah's Urban Meyer, you lost a couple days ago when he went to Florida. Of course, the hilarious note is that Notre Dame lost out on someone who had previously claimed that coaching at South Bend was his dream job.
And now, according to Ivan Maisel at ESPN.com, you can cross Cal's Jeff Tedford off the list of possible head coaches on Montlake next year, as he apparently has signed a 5-year extension to stay at Berkeley.
So to repeat, it's not Meyer, and it's not Tedford.
The pickings are getting slimmer.
