ED'S NEW TURF
The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis is getting a new playing surface.
Beginning this upcoming season, the St. Louis Rams will play on FieldTurf, the same surface that is used in Qwest Field. Over the past few seasons, the Rams organization has complained about the rock-hard artificial turf that had been in place since the dome's opening in 1995.
