This will be the second time that the Mariners have faced Randy Johnson since he was traded in 1998. Johnson shut out the Mariners 6-0 on July 20, 1999 as an Arizona Diamondback when Safeco Field wasn't even a week old.
I still miss Randy. Mariners fans knew that when he got the ball, the M's weren't going to lose. Those were the days, sigh.
