GOOD RIDDANCE, STANLEY STEAMER
Mariners advance scout Stan Williams, formerly the M's pitching coach from 1998-1999, has left Seattle to take the same position with the Devil Rays.
Now we can find a guy who will actually have a clue on scouting unknown pitchers.
Josh (Twin) Towers, Mark (I played basketball at Wazzu) Hendrickson, Eric (Not As Good as Demetrius) DuBose, Doug (What The Hell?) Waechter, Jocquan Benoit (?), Billy (Not Talented) Traber, and Scot Shields ring a bell, Mariner fans?
Those are a few of the pitchers who beat the Mariners during the 2003 season. Sickening, isn't it?
