MARVIN WILLIAMS WATCH, GAME 17
[posted late Fri pm]
A Rocky Mountain snowstorm was to blame for the Atlanta Hawks showing up 90 minutes before tipoff for a game against the Denver Nuggets. However, the Hawks were able to put up 116 points against a decent team, losing 125-116.
2004 Bremerton High graduate Marvin Williams shot 2-for-5 from the field and hit both shots from the line for 6 points in 22 minutes off the bench. He also grabbed four rebounds (three offensive), dished out two assists, and recorded a steal to offset a turnover. He was also whistled for five fouls.
Even with the snowstorm and showing up 90 minutes before tipoff, the Hawks were to travel to Salt Lake City for a game the next night against the Jazz.
